Lexington Station Condos combines commercial and residential along with underground parking giving rise to the perfect mixed-use complex. It’s located in the heart of the South Slope District, putting residents within walking distance of the best of downtown Asheville’s amenities. And speaking of amenities, the one- and two-bedroom condos enjoy upmarket fittings, balconies, and other building niceties, such as outdoor plazas, beautifully landscaped areas, and 100 underground parking spaces.
Pioneering, Smart-ArchitectureGlazer Architecture, a pro-sustainability construction firm, built Lexington Station in 2007. So you can expect a bit of a ‘green’ vibe living in this traditional structure. The 2nd and 3rd (residential) levels benefited greatly from the project’s systems-built, modular construction-a smart approach to building aimed at reducing construction cost and waste. According to the contractor website, the modular multi-story, multi-family construction concept was the first in the Asheville area.
Unparalleled ConvenienceHoused within 1.7 acres are retail, restaurants, and commercial offices. Lexington Station is home to local and international brands to fulfill every need-whether you are looking to spruce up your home interior, spoil yourself or loved ones with gifts, or quench your ‘thirst.’ The building houses the renowned Storm Rhum Bar and Bistro, placing all the good stuff under one roof. There’s a host of other shopping, dining, recreational, and entertainment joints within walking distance.
In the middle of winter, when everything, including motivation, is frozen and rain is pouring, hitting the gym becomes a luxury. Thankfully, Lexington Station has a well-equipped indoor gym, ensuring you keep up with your fitness goals all year round and what’s more, attendance is well-organized for safety even during the pandemic. And as the city eases some COVID-19-related restrictions, Pure Wellness-located at 65 A Biltmore Ave-is just a few steps away. You can pop in after a tough day at work and do some yoga poses.
Comfortable Living SpacesThe one- and three-bedroom units range from 675 to 2020 square feet, with the two-bedroom ones having open and split floor plans, facilitating seamless access to the sitting area from the oppositely located bedrooms. The kitchen is nicely fitted with upscale stainless steel appliances and has sizeable breakfast bar. The granite countertops provide a nice, contrasting break from the hardwood floor styling and mahogany kitchen bar stools and cupboards.
The large balconies overlook S Lexington Ave. on one side and Church St. on the other. Just beside the kitchen is a laundry room and closet pantry. It’s fitted with a modern washer/dryer. As you enter the bedroom, you are greeted by a warm atmosphere-an extension of the homely vibe in the living room created by the traditional upholstery. The master suite has a walk-in closet, double-sink bathroom vanity, and a separate whirlpool bathtub.
Short-Term Rent and Pet PolicyResidential spaces are available for a minimum of 6 months. Each lease affords the holder access to one deeded parking spot and in-unit storage, and whether or not you can keep your pet is contingent upon the type of pet. Monthly HOA fees apply.
